You could say I have a split personality issue. Actually this account does. As I'm enjoying Formula 1 kits togehter with my girflriend and GunPla kits with my brother. As a kid I was an aircraft nut, building kits that I could get my hands on from the lunch money I had on my hands. It was an early start with an age of 10 or so. I haven't touched the paint back then but when I "grew up" (34 now) I rediscovered this hobby once more, by pure chance. A friend wa selling a kit he didn't need and it all went downhill from there with my wallet becoming thinner and thinner since then. We're all junkies here so we all know the feeling. 🙂
I'm a resident of Serbia, so that means "you can't enjoy this hobby because: a) it's too costly; b)it's immature; c)you simply can't buy what you need in stores, other than Revell kits." But we all have ways of getting what we want and with recent ebay opening it's doors toward us, all kinds of interesting things jumped out of the Pandora's box. Tamiya, Hasegawa, Fujimi, Ebbro, Bandai, you name it! But still what get's me the most would be the rolling eyes of my friend whenever he walks into my working space. We're artists and we're good at what we do and that's the most important thing. Like every other artist, we're underappreciated but that doesn't stop us from pushing on and developing our skills further.
