Another Free French Sherman from the 2. DB. Brive-la-Gaillarde survived the war and the crew kept a record of their journey.
This tank destroyed 3 enemy tanks (2 Pz. IV on 11th August and one Panther on 24th November 1944), fired 273 shells (174 HE, 79 AP and 20 smoke grenades) and 19200 machine-gun shots (13700 with the coax .30, 4950 with the .30 bow machine gun and 750 with the .50 cal). The tank drove a distance of 1040 in North Africa during combat trainings, 954km in Great Britain, 2625km in France and 960km in Germany. Within this action the Sherman was hit by 20mm shells on 29th January 1945 and got damaged when hitting a AT mine on 14th April 1945.
