Mig-21 LanceR A

I used to live not that far from one of the Romanian Air Force's air bases, and there was another civil airport not far away either, so I used to hear the roar of the turbojet when one of the Mig Lancers flew above or two flew in formation. After I picked up modelmaking I realized that it would be a neat idea to be able to display one of the aircraft of my childhood.

Ideally, the Mig 21 variant that was sold to the Air Force was the PF and the PFM, as well as the two-seater UM, but I had difficulty finding one for 1/72 and settled for a slightly later model that appears very close visually. There were 3 LanceR conversions (A, B and C), and I chose to do the A version, which was adapted for ground attacks (the B and C are respectively trainer and air attack).
