"Krali Marko" defensive line was built along the southern border of Bulgaria during 1950's.It utilized the already obsolete Pz.Kpfw. IV and StuG III's from WWII.Those still present in Army's inventory were dug in to cover possible lines of advance for the Greek and Turkish armies in case of conflict. The "pilboxes" were abandoned in the late 1980's and rusted at will. They were "rediscovered" in 2008 and were subsequently digged out and are currently stored at Yambol's Museum of Battle Glory(I guess Bulgaria has now the largest number of Pz.Kpfw IV(G,H and J) and StuG III(G) vehicles in the world).Among the vehicles dug out there is a unique one- a Pz.Kpfw.IV Ausf.G with ZiS-3 Divisional Gun mounted in the turret. It is the subject of this project.
