M4A4 FL-10 - Egyptian Sherman

Hull and running gear from Dragon, turret from Takom, lightguards from FC Model and the tracks from Friul.
The project began with the turret of the AMX-13 from Takom. I needed the hull for another project. The task was, found a tank with the FL-10 Turret. Searching through the internet, I found this little "beauty". And I found the Dragon kit 3570. Searching in reviews, I found out, that the tracks are too long and the turret was made by short-run. So I decided, Dragons hull, Takoms turret and a single link track! After starting assembly, I find a part in the assembly plan, I don't know where correctly placing at the rear. While searching on photos I had to find out, that the rear of this sherman (original M4A4) was rebuilt with an M4A2 enigne, because it was easier in maintenance. Dragon has this parts in the box, so I decided also rebuilding it into an M4A2. The track mount is also wrong and some minor parts. These parts were changed or rebuilt scratch. Another interesting point of this tank is, the israels chaptured some vehicles and tested them with their M50 sherman. They found out, that they are equal! Less than 150 units were modified in france. About Dragon, it is a shame, demanding so much money for such a quality and bad researching. I was very happy found this kit for the half price.
