T-34/85 Mod.1944

Building Revells 1/72 T-34/85 largely OOTB.
I experimented with AK Interactives Modelling Putty to create armor texture on the more heavy armored parts of the tank as well as some cast parts. However, I did not cover every surface as it didn´t seem fitting to make the thinner ~45mm plates looking that "heavy" especially in this scale.
Thus the effect is largely of artistic nature and the quality of the painted result remains to be seen 😉 Well... at least some of the real the T-34´s castings do in fact look quite rancid...
In the end I´m quite happy with the model as I have tried some things as such sa handpainted markings on it and they did - believe me or not - more or less work out 😉
