Airfix 1/72 Henschel hs123 build

Showing the photos from mid way through the project. The kit comes with a large, wrap around decal for the frame but I left it off as it was proving a tad difficult to get the decal to settle over the rivets so I decided to ditch it!! That aside I am in the process of varnishing it with Tamiya's matt varnish rattle can. Once that's done I will touch up the paint where it's been rubbed off then weather it a bit more. I have some swastika decals in the post to finish off the decaling. I love these planes, I find them very aesthetically appealing to look at. I think Gas Patches 1/48 version will be at he top of the birthday pressie list.
