FernandoCoutoMENG lost much fame on their KT and Panther tanks. They truly provided a full set of interior, with a hull with incorrect dimensions ( too long IMHO) and too "erected" suspension bogeys, make it looks taller. Some modellers complained about poor plastic (especially the dark red release) even turned their cement red.
Despite more than 12,000 sets ordered even before released, it's just a kit with reasonable price.
Look at the link-and-length tracks, would you tell the parts as "tracks" before they are attached to running wheels?
Well, there is a movable individual track and "torsion bar" sets sold separately, price nearly equals a tank.

Trez MackenziePerhaps there were some small issues - but there are also some good points. No kit is perfect and some require more work than others. Most modellers like to tinker about to add their own mark and make any corrections found by research. The more experienced you become the less likely 'OOB' builds
As for tracks - don't make me laugh! Most Modellers (not me) spend a fortune on metal tracks and lazy AM stuff.
This kit has been popular, the interior makes the Trumpeter 1/16 one look a joke (which was one of the reasons for the interior set), has a metal barrel and will build into a fine rendition of the real thing
You can look at a few of my attempts at builds - a few cheap kits were just test beds to get my skills up as I spent about 3 decades away
I always scratch were necessary after I read up on the subject. Today there is too much reliance on AM and metal tracks

Roland SachsenhoferThese pictures start a build that gives me my first experience with 'Clear Prop' - and they are good ones! The fineness of the shapes, the accuracy of fit and the meaningfulness of the construction steps seem to combine to create a pleasurable building experience!
This plane is also highly interesting: originally derived as a drone for shooting practice from a small civilian predecessor model, hundreds were pulverised in the air. Some of those that survived this use went on to have an amazing career as light sports aircraft and enjoyed great popularity in the 1940s.

Roland SachsenhoferHello mates! How nice that this small but lovely project has your interest and positive feedback! Indeed, a brand new kit that immediately caught my interest when I stumbled across it - so it ended up on the workbench straight away.
To answer the question about the current density of my projects: on the one hand, I sometimes wonder myself 🙂 On the other hand, I suspect that it has something to do with running three or four, maybe even five (at the moment, for example) projects in parallel . Something is 'always' being finished or started.

Roland SachsenhoferI made the following preparations for the bright red of the final surface: first I applied yellow followed by a layer of white to the model. After drying, I sanded this base, which should make the following red "glow", with 1000, 1200 and 2000 grit sandpaper to make the colour layers more transparent again, to get a smooth surface and to find any flaws - you can see a few exposed on the fuselage and tail unit. I am surprised by the very high quality of the kit and look forward to finishing it!

Roland SachsenhoferIt looks like the Culver PQ-14 is ready! This was a most enjoyable project from start to finish. I am delighted with my first "clear prop" kit and I enjoyed the unusual history of the original. I made the seat belts and the aerial wiring, everything else can be found in the beautifully finished kit.

Lionel MarcoA kit I was lucking to find last week.
It must be one of the simplest kit of this brand: the fuselage is in resin.
But for the rest of the plane, you have tu build it from photo-etched parts and silk paper, just as the real plane.
It's tricky, but the result is stunning if well done, as the PE parts can be through the paper.

Martin von SchreckensteinJuly 15th 1994: A United States Marine Corps AV-8B V/STOL Harrier descended below altitude minimums over a built up area, and in clear visual atmospheric conditions - pilot Harry Tasker - (computer salesman), failed to maintain minimal separation from an obstacle, allowing the tail of his aircraft to come in contact with a construction crane in downtown Miami. The crane's presence was properly published in NOTAMS for the Miami Florida area at the time of the incident.
