Watch the Cab to Chassis interface on this kit. My GMGC had some difficulty with that!

Thanks for the heads-up. I've been dry-fitting the floor and the rear body (main parts already built) and they seem to fit well enough to the chassis, but I won't know for sure until I get the cab built, of course.

I was the same for mine! I still think I messed something up. But they look great when finished!

I have seen somebody build a Dragon M3 halftrack, and he had some trouble lining up the cab and the back half, so I think it will pay to keep a close eye on fit straight from the start.

Excellent finish! The tail sitting got me too. I just added a little ball of ticky-tack to the front wheel and it keeps it standing up on its display table.

Yes, usually I don't make the stands, this one is only to fix the wheel

Feeling proud of how this one turned out from a basic Italeri kit, even if it's not perfect! What do you think?

Italeri kits rank far down there with American model kits in my book (last resort model kits if you have no other choice). To get this result with an Italeri says a lot! Lovely build!

Many thanks CaptGPF for the kind words. Yes the Italeri kit has many flaws, but for me being one of the kits I've built when I was a kid, brings back some good vibes. Will look out there what other Hueys I can find, maybe I'll build another one just to see how a good kit feels in comparison 🙂 cheers
