Iron Maiden 747 "Ed Force One"
Ed Force One needs Rhinoplasty!
Weak fuselage and gaping belly hole
Get the plastic and putty
I used a blue sharpie - the difference in the wing roots is bad.
Barn door thick trailing edges - LACI flap set should greatly improve this mess.
Belly piece very weak and poor fit - thought best to split in two, reinforce, and go from there
"T" rod plastic epoxied in place, belly much stronger, seams minimized
And away go the barn door thick trailing edges
The LACI parts are beautiful
Much improved fit and strength in belly - still some sanding - then try to fix those awful wing root junctions.

Album info
Revell 747-400, as flown by the Irons during the Book of Souls Tour. Building as post-port engine replacements after ground handling foul-up in Chile.
Kit is old, needs much improvement.
Wing incidence is a big complaint with this kit, I have not read anyone noticing the very poor and asymmetrical wing roots on the fuselage halve - this will take some real work as the belly panel is also a very poor fit.
So far required windows opened, others filled, all molded on antenna removed, nose profile correction started, stiffeners in fuselage fore, aft, and nose weighted.
Ordering Druz CF6-80 engines, LACI 747-400 flaps. Trailing edges on the kit are stupidly thick, almost a foot in scale -
Stay tuned, and Up The Irons!
