Bf 109 G-6 (Franz Stigler) - "No Bullets Fly"

Album info
When I first heard the story about Franz Stigler and Charlie Brown, I thought it was complete nonsense. But after hearing the song "No Bullets Fly" by the Swedish metal band Sabaton, I started to get curious. Was there really something to it?
I quickly came across the book "Eine höhere Pflicht" (A Higher Call) from Adam Mankos and Larry Alexander, which told the life story of these two pilots. After reading the book (and watching a video of their first face-to-face meeting), I was completely overwhelmed and decided to create a personal memorial to this man. Especially when the story is almost completely unknown in Germany: a "Nazi pilot" with a conscience and signs of humanity? There must not have been such a thing. End of the discussion.
The build was relaxed, and it was my first attempt at painting a figure. For the base, I tried terrain paste for the first time to get a feel for it. That's why it still looks very unrealistically similar. I left out some areas; the space is reserved for Sabaton autographs. You still have to have goals...
Due to German laws, I had to make the swastika on the vertical stabilizer unrecognizable.
