Thank you gorby, Lochsa River and Neuling. Shelly Anderson is one of only five women to win an NHRA national event in a professional category. While in Top Fuel Dragster she won four national events and set a speed record of 316.23 MPH in 1996 that stood for several years. Not sure I would ride in this rocket.

Great work, Curtis! I've wanted to do this car for a long time, to display beside my Darrell Waltrip Western Auto stock car. The only ones I have seen are selling for black market kidney prices, so I think I'll wait it out. As far riding in one of these rockets? I'd love to, but I'm pretty sure it's the last thing I would ever do. 😉

Thank you, Mike Thomas, George Williams, Bike-Queen, and Mr. James. I guess I will have to get busy and build some more dragsters!

Thank you, Bill Newcomer and Bob Hall. I checked eBay for kits, and they range from $22-53 USD plus shipping. Yes, it does take up a lot of shelf space. I have my Texaco collectables separate from my other models, so it is less of a problem.
