Any tips for an invisible repair on a damaged windshield ? It's a 5mm crack in the middle bottom upwards. TIA

I've heard quite a few people ask this question and unfortunately I've not seen anyone suggesting a practical solution to a completely invisible repair.
(one impractical solution I've read about is to use Araldite….which is left to dry in a vacuum. I don't know about you, I haven't got a vacuum chamber.)

Dry fitting strongly recommended as the instructions were not for the faint-hearted. Mostly the tolerances were high enough to keep the need for glue to a minimum.

Planning a diorama with a derelict car on a trailer and have been searching in vain for waterslides depicting shattered/broken windshield. Anybody got any suggestions?
