That's a good and cheap idea with great effect. My daughter should have some of those left from our last visit in Japan. Hopefully not only Kitty-chan...! Otherwise I have to get some myself, when we'll be in Japan in summer.
My daughter and my wife do love 100-en Shops. So it will not be difficult to get them there for shopping!

I began to use color nail seal as position light to finish my Hasegawa # 09874 1/48 scale Mitsubishi F1M2 Pete
The sheet of self adesive is made in South Korea and you can find at the so called
"hyaku yen shop" (100 yen is the price, now that means under 0,9 euro)
Is necessary to build a little hole in the wing for the "red" and "blue" lights before to glue the transparent cover of the kit
The result is very good: it shines as with a light on.
