Looks pretty good to me, I just started trying pre-shading also. My first try turned out pretty good. I used a sharpie fine tip black marker, and traced all the panel lines then sprayed several thin coats of my colors until I got the effect I was looking. You might also try pin washes. There are how to videos on U-Tube, Still looks Good.

Thought I'd try something different. Really liked the kit decals and only being 20/30 miles away from RNAS Yeovilton thought it would be good to try.
Tried to bring out the panel lines, watched a videos on YouTube and thought I'd figured it out. Did a initial coat of S/G Black to bring out the lines but my top coat (I realised afterwards) was too thick (I think it needed to be watered down more) and it just overpowered the black. To top it all off, after spending out on some good window masks, I then go and spray them the wrong colour!! Only released after I'd pulled all the masks off.
