Eduard´s prepainted PE makes a big difference and eases work in the cockpit a lot
These parts were painted with AK Interactive´s True Metal pastes
The pilot painted against the kit instructions, but after recommendations of one who was there.
I tried to keep dust from the canopy with this construction
After dipping in Klear, the blades were meant to prevent buildup of Klear on the part.
The entire kit fits quite well, but not without dryfitting. The cockpit assembly needed quite some work to fit, though.
Mating the fuselage halves needed some firm persuasion.
I like playing with oil paint on metalized parts.
This is a sandwich of PE and the kit part.
I was hooked by the serious weapons layout carried by this rather small aircraft.
Always great value for money - Eduard´s precut masks.
Master´s machined parts are a decided improvement on the kit parts.
I used some of my dwindling supply of Parafilm to mask the inside of the canopy.
Sadly, all that masking did not prevent paint getting on the main canopy.
The stuff is not my taste, despite being a card-carrying Anglophile, but Tom Grigat´s method of using it for chipping does work.
The aircraft had been sprayed with automotive primer.

Likewise on the fuel tanks. I did not use these tanks, as the instructions said they were only introduced after Corporate ended.
The bomb actually has some nifty preshading, just not in this image.
I had clearcoated the aircraft with Humbrol Clear, and found out it does not react well with MicroSol. MicroSet, though, does work.
This side had looked as dismal before, after reapplying Humbrol Clear things were warm and fuzzy again.
The decal sheet includes virtually all markings options for any Sea Harrier that ever flew, and tons of stencils.
Having botched the canopy, I experienced excellent service from Kinetic. Many thanks again!
The new canopy, with the det cord painted white with artist´s oils. Better than using the decals in the end.
