I was a little bit lazy with posting pics of this project. Meanwhile it is nearly finished. Decals are applied and it is interrupted because I started the A-Wing project during my vacation

That's a great looking hand drier. (I'm always reminded by the Harrier anytime you use one of those hot air hand driers in public toilets!) Did you scratch build the top engine section? or is it a resin add on?

@Glenn: It is a resin part from CMK. Check the components I used for this project. But it needs a lot of modification, testing and adjustmend to install it

Well now, that looks nearly perfect to me 👍 I really do not like the original. Don't know why.
But it brings me joy to look at your very well done little replica of it 🙂
Congrats Christian

Thanks. Unfortunately it was damaged while it was in the competition area. I believe it happend during or after they moved it to take a picture for the Award ceremony . Both main landing gears are broken off the fuselage. I have to make an inspection today in order to check if it is repairable and if there are some consequentional damages after the Transport home..

Beautiful job, nice faded look with great weathering and all the extra features like open engine doors and intake covers. Congratulations on award, thoroughly deserved, must be heartbreaking to have it subsequently damaged, hope it is readily fixable.

Thanks Scott. Repair started yesterday evening. Luckily no consequentional damages by Transport. I am quite confidential that I can fix it and it will not be noticable.

one point, inspection panels on top of wings were coated over with anti corrosion paint to stop ingress of water which is a slightly darker shade.Did this on my 1:48 GR3 but sadly not a patch on yours.

Hi Dave, thank you for this information. Do you have a pic that displays the real colour PS: This seems to be an insider information. I never heard about that.
