Great looking slave there!! I am not familiar with the Fine Molds kits I heard the Details are much better compared to Bandai. Is that true? Does the fine mold kit include the LED Lights or did you add that yourself? It's a very nice touch! Great job!

Thanks for the compliments. Well, for starters, I don't think Bandai makes a 1/72 version of the Slave I, only 144. Tough to say. I like the overall LOOK of the fine molds better, but some of the engine area details are a little crisper looking on the Bandai, but, the fine molds looks very good. If the bandai is a 10/10 on crisper looking details, the fine molds is a 9. All of the LED lights were added custom by me. The biggest area of difficulty is that the two round engines, fine molds makes a clear part for. But for the long rectangular engine, they made it solid. So I had to purchase a clear resin cast of the part instead.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. This was probably the first model that I was genuinely proud to show off! 🙂

Nice work Jeremy, I like the color of the engine glow did you use a filter or just paint white LED's ?

Thanks . . the LEDs were cool white LEDs (so they had a slight blue tint to them), and then I just used a yellow Sharpie (i get them for free! haha) and coloured the clear pieces to give them a different tint. 🙂
