![Album image #1 Album image #1](/albums/img/4/1/7/577417-42594-85-720.jpg)
Base start of a "random species" tree. I took a medium size branch as the base of the tree, then I added other smaller branches to built the tree as I wish.
![Album image #2 Album image #2](/albums/img/4/1/8/577418-42594-60-720.jpg)
Second and biggest tree. This is the result after adsong the seafoam. I cuted the branches so I could pierce a small hole and then add the seafoam. I placed the seafoam by the size of the branches to make the tree the more natural possible.

First test using differents paint techniques and adding the the leaves flocking to the tree.
![Album image #4 Album image #4](/albums/img/7/4/7/579747-42594-48-720.jpg)
First coat of brown paint to seal all the components and as a base coat (primer) for the next steps of paint.
![Album image #5 Album image #5](/albums/img/7/4/8/579748-42594-70-720.jpg)
Figure added to get a glimpse of the scale.
![Album image #6 Album image #6](/albums/img/7/4/9/579749-42594-36-720.jpg)
I decided to make the birch trees at a young stage, so they are almost all slick and bright white.
![Album image #7 Album image #7](/albums/img/7/5/0/579750-42594-97-720.jpg)
Second tree with the seafoam and base coat added.
![Album image #8 Album image #8](/albums/img/7/5/1/579751-42594-36-720.jpg)
Small bush that I made as a test, but still I will add it to the diorama.
![Album image #9 Album image #9](/albums/img/7/5/2/579752-42594-96-720.jpg)
Birch family trees. Making of the tress based on an article from Steel Masters.
![Album image #10 Album image #10](/albums/img/7/5/3/579753-42594-54-720.jpg)
I used a simple branch from a bush of my backward. The branches have a soft almoat hollow center, so it is easy to carve and pierce to add the seafoam.

Looking at the first three pictures and getting an idea of what you're planning, I'm very interested in your proceedings. Count me in! 🙂

Thank you all. I started this project with the idea of adding only one big tree and a pine tree, but since l started testing with seafoam, I changed my mind. So I think I will be adding a lot of trees. Trees always have been a difficult thing to make for me, but I think I'm on the good way.

You're obviously succeeding in one of the most difficult tasks in modelling: forming realistic trees.

Hmmmm.... I don't know about the mushrooms though. They look like they come from the little shop of horrors. A little bit big and too colorfull.
