Glued both halves... I knew there was a difference in length, but in width to... more then 1 mm gap between certain parts of lower and upper hull... 

more then 1mm in length too... stern looks different then

after carving slots where the glue kept protruding and filling them, seems it gave the result I was after

something off... main part should consist of 2 parts, molded as one, PE-part doesn't fit over it 

to avoid as much attachments points, I cut my PE at an angle, as close as possible to the part 

then I put it between some toothless pliers 

sand it flush all around 

then some careful cutting, and voila, first weapon ready
