Sea Fury Build
Tamiya epoxy and white putties were used to fill the gaps.
Some details added to external fuel tanks.
Panel lines engraved on engine cowlings.
Hispano canon barrels installed with 0,8 mm. brass tube.
Primed with Vallejo black primer.
Gunze H8 Silver is first coat for the chipping effect.
Upper and lower fuselage hair sprayed and painted with Tamiya XF-4 yellow green for the first layer of weathering effect.
First layer weathering completed with brushes and toothpick. This layer is protected by clear coat.
Painted with Tamiya X-3 Navy Blue
Weathered heavily with hair spray technique and sanded with 4000 grid cloth.
Decals weathered too.
Exhausts added and will be painted with smoke stains.
Exhaust stains done with oil paints.
Landing gear struts installed and...
... some filter applied with oil paints.
Wooden stand made of scratch with evergreen stripes.

I recently added this kit to my wishlist.
I also wish that I could get their Aussie Mirage but keep being outbid on ebay.
When I say I keep being outbid it makes it sound like a regular occurrence but I've only seen two in seven years

Wooden block on left landing gear and stand under tail added. There will be small touches like arrester hook and some oil paints on propeller on the next session.
