The Stash.
Please note the super-rare decals of old Inex Adria DC-9. Ray from 26decals.com had a one last page and even added a new unique print for the YU-AJR registration. Such kindness, I am touched.

Not much to gluing here, will dedicate more time to smooooth finish, filling some gaps etc.

Painted and left side decaled. Tomorrow right side, then matt and some weathering...

Had issues with decals, they are over 20 years old and brittle which gave me some troubles in the lines above the left engine. Knowing that this is probably the last sheet of decals in the world, I used much microsol.

I deem this one finished. A few scratches to be corrected. Then it'll be a Xmas present to my bro.
It's been an interesting build outside of my comfort zone of US Navy... I doubt I will be building another airliner anytime soon 🙂
Now let's see if I can catch up with the Bf109.

A great result. Your metal finish makes a beautiful contrast to the painted areas.

This story is as sad as the build is lovely (and my fav airliner too) 👍
