so far so good. the blessing of the rubber tracks balances the curse of all the visible pinmarks.

Sorry, my english is not so good, "grappa_0_0_0". What do you understand by "blessing" and "curse of all visible pinmarks"?
Thanks!

Academy is infamous for laving huge ejection marks on highly visible parts, which are difficult to clean, so that's a curse.
But at the same time, the rubber tracks are something very welcome, and the loss of detail is well worth it.

Ah, okay understood! Yes, indeed the ejection marks are big.
Fortunately, they will be orientated inwards 🙂
Thank you, grappa_0_0_0

Finished the model, but I´m not completely satifisfied. Think that, I have overdone concerning aging/weathering a little bit....
Feel free to comment

If you have ideas, how to re-touch to improve the model, I would be very glad 😊

I think you have done an excellent work with the aging and weathering, which I think is always dependent on how well the equipment has been maintained, cleaned, and or restored. If you think the Tiger is too weathered, just explain it as having not been sent for main ten E and restoration in a long time 😄

Thanks!
I will just retouch some areas, which are a little bit to dirty and add a light coat of flat protection.
And start the diorama „Town in Tunesia"

Really superb results, Andy. I'm liking the oily gratings In the rear deck, above the hot and oily engine 👍 The exhausts are perfect too 🙂

Very Nice paintjob. 👍
Imho, only the lack of sag and track joint should be a bit more worked out? 🤔

Thanks to all of you!
Yes, Rui the tracks were very very difficult to join.
It was the first time I had to mount rubber tracks.
I didn't find a good way to make them hold together.
So, I took an solder iron, but this was too much heat and the rubber melted away 😩

So nearly finished, just to retouch the tracks and fix with flat transparent coating.

Just some ideas: you could glue the rubber tracks down to the top of the road wheels with white glue. You'd have to find a way to hold them in place while they dried. As far as the track joint, a little pile of dirt in the right place would hide it perfectly. The tank and the diorama look great. I don't think the weathering is overdone at all.
