Star Wars AT-M6 First Order Heavy Aussault Walker
Poor details on the visible inside of the wall.
Poor details on the visible inside of the wall.
Cutted some plastic sheet.
The details and the structures on the outside are completely wrong compared to the original. To redesign this true to the original would probably ruin the model and go beyond the scope.
Still, a few more details and panels can't hurt. I have also added some battle scars.
Since the part with the electronics (light and sound) protrudes much too high from the fuselage and thus does not correspond to the original model at all, some plastic had to be cut away and broken to make it fit.

Addes some more structure to the inside of the fuselage.
All greeblies done and now ready for painting.
Main color applied after pre-shading.
Second highlighting color applied.
Some more color variations. Now it's time to dry and then the first layer of clear coat will be sprayed.
A glossy coat was applied and I started panel lining with Tamiya Panel Line Accent Color black.
Final weathering is done. So this is the last picture of the unassambled model. The final shots will come soon.
So here are the final shots. Hope you like it.
Some pictures together with my AT-AT from Bandai.
Some Photoshop pictures in a suitable landscape.
OMG! A violent error in the space-time continuum! 😉

So tell me Chris, have you already activated the lights and sound effects? Or are you saving it for the end of the build like I try to do? To me It's much more fun and rewarding that way. 😁

Thank you for watching. The button for light and sound I have inevitably already activated, because I had to adjust the module to sink it into the fuselage. It is actually a toy and certainly fun for kids, but as a model builder I could do without it. The light of the laser cannon is rather weak and can only be perceived in a darkened room. The sounds are tinny. Not a highlight for me. But for 7.99 EUR I couldn't do much wrong. 😉

I tried to improve the Revell kit with some more details and painting to make it more realistic.
