The transparent paint fell off while painting, so I diluted it with a new one, but the dilution ratio wasn't right, so I quickly erased it with a tissue and repainted.

nice result. I studied your techniques thoroughly as I will tackle my first 1:20 race car in the not too distant future. Your way of handling things is quite different from what I do with smaller kits. Thanks for the info. Might save me some trouble.
