TIE Striker
Wing assembly is done
The only issue was the clamp that holds the wing down, and allows them to rotate to various attitudes
Holes drilled for the thruster lights
I used a mix of xf-50 and xf-82 to mimic the darker gray for the cockpit internals
I purchased one of the red lighting kits for tie fighters and managed to burn out all of the LEDs because I didn’t realize they were only rated for 3 volts
Right side engine all wired up
Both engines wired up. I will need to reseat the led for the left engine
I wish the led in the cockpit was a bit brighter, but in reality, I think this level is more accurate to the movies.
Leds are all soldered together. I wanted to include green leds to illuminate the laser cannons, but I think adding those will be more work than they are worth as the ones I have don’t illuminate the laser bolts sufficiently
The pod is all sealed up
Drilling holes into the stand to route the wires
I couldn’t resist
Next steps are masking and painting canopies before closing up the cockpit
Fully primed. Black on the heat dispersers, and then gray on the rest of the body
Black done.
Not sure about the color accuracy, but I tried following Bandai’s color ratio with similar colors
Some small touch-ups will be needed
Some small touch ups. The blasters will need some red, and then a clear coat
All ready for a clear coat
Stand is fully painted and wired. Rollout to follow

The Striker itself is done. Such a fun kit, Bandai's reputation is not unwarranted. The stand will be painted gloss black, and then just a bit of wiring on the stand to add some easy connectors for a power source.

And aaaallll done. I rushed the stand a bit, and forgot to sand the flat surfaces, so the gloss black really showed every piece of dust that was on the paint, but oh well. Thank you @Torsten
