Fokker E.III Eindecker / Douai 1916 / Eduard / Max Immelmann
Time to start the next build. Will be OOB with a couple scratch-built upgrades.
Engine valve operating rods added with stretched sprue.
Engine painted up.
Cockpit painted up with tamiya acrilics and laquers. Rudder control wires added with rigging line.
Wing holes drilled through to make rigging easier.
Tail glued on and control wire holes drilled.
Fuselage assembled and sanded.
Fuel filler cap added with cut down styrene rod (is 1mm but should be smaller). Cockpit masked.
Detail i observed in the Wingnut Wings kit added to the fuselage underside with stretched sprue.
Tail skid assempled.
Painted up machine gun.
Fuselage and wings painted up. Paints are tamiya XF65 field grey and LP11 silver over X1 black.
Completed model.
Decals went on very well, just a bit of carrier film showing on the serial numbers.
Rigging is Ammo Mig rigging (Uschi vand der Rosten)
Used 0.03mm rigging but ran out halfway through, rest is 0.01mm rigging borrowed from a friend. (That's why they look different)

Here is the finished model, i've made it in in just over a week and i've had a lot of fun making it, i think it looks great too. Hope you enjoy!
