Spitfire LF.9 - Belgian Air Force - Advance Flying School (VVS/EPA) - 1952
First quick dryfit of the fuselage halfs. Seems quite ok actually.
Decals to be used and Eduard cockpit set. The kit comes with zero interior detail, so if you want something inside, this is the cheapest option.
As I'll be opening the cockpit access door, the Eduard set is not so useful.

There some minor inconsistencies in the panel lines, so a quick light rescribing is done.
The Brengun detail set provides the option to open or keep the access door closed.
I'll be using this one.
The fuselage halfs where the parts go, need to thinned down a bit for this set, otherwise the bulkhead etc won't fit properly.

It's really tiny...
Ready for some paint.
Light coat of primer - decanted white Tamiya primer thinned with Tamiya laquer thinner.
Inetrior green in various shades, lighter towards the top edges.
All detail painting and weathering done.
One last look before the fuselage halfs will be closed.

Indeed, I just saw your progress. 👍🏻
I should have primed the PE beforehand, but will do as a next step…
