Album info
In summer 1967 I was presented this Airfix-kit of Me 262 A. Immediately I bought Airfix paints in small glass jars with metal screw lids, a brush and glue Uhu Plast. As I was keen to get the kit done I assembled it at once. I forgot to paint the cockpit and the pilot before fixing the canopy. There was no sanding, no filling, no thinner, no primer.
Now I found at the attic of my fathers house a box with different kits sealed in 1985 as indicated by the newspapers, that I used to wrap the planes. Within also the Me 262, my first kit ever. Perhaps your start in modelling was similar.
