The German "Fliegertruppe" 1912 - 1918

While France, USA, Italy and UK already had installed military air components with airplanes, the german military authorities were focused on Zeppelins. In 1912 the Prussian and also the Bavarian "Fliegertruppe" were formed. In the short period colourful airplanes were created. Many of these were transferred to scale models to culminate probably in Wingnut Wings.
