Jagdpanther (Command Version)
Renovation Project

I bought this Jagdpanther (dragon 9016) when I was a primary schoolboy in 2002. I constructed and airbrushed this kit without doing any chipping and weathering at that time.

Today I am trying to renovate and reprint the kit because of I want to chip & weather the model and let it become more realistic. Jagdpanther with the 88mm L/71 gun was always one of my favorite WW II tank destroyers.

The 9000 old dragon series with red box are pretty classical these day and I could still see a lot of fans are trying to collect them on internet. However, we cannot ignore some serious problems of old dragon kits; most of them do not contain the PE parts, so it is relative hard for us to highlight some small equipments (cables, axe, locker, hook, shovel & some small containers, etc) on upper plate of tank; moreover, some plastic components on sprue are very crispy, so it is tough for us to cut and take them off from sprue. I will consider to buy another new dragon Jagdpanther kit if I have enough budget sometime in future.
