Focke wulf Ta-183 "Huckebein"

After this kit had been maturing in my basement for over 20 years, it was finally time to build it!
“AM-Tech” did a very good job back then and developed a very precise and detailed model.
The only thing that is unsightly is the air inlet indicated by a shallow recess, which was therefore replaced by a resin part from Quickboost.
However, this had to be thoroughly filled and sanded!

Another part of Quickboost recreates a very finely depicted pilot's seat (intended for the He-162), which is shown to its best advantage by the sawn-off cockpit hood.

Incidentally, the form is now marketed by Academy
(including cockpit masks).
