Aircraft were needed to populate an O scale (1:48) airport at the Real Rail Model Railroad Club in Bradenton, FL. This Texan was a temporary trainer at the Sarasota USAAFB AFT (Advanced Fighter Training) Base during WWII.

John MoranThis was a very out of the box model of one of the versions of the Monogram kit. My intent was to provide an in scale aircraft for the O scale railroad airport that would appear to have been on a "visiting/training" mission to the Sarasota AAFB, which was home to P-40 and P-51s for Advanced Fighter Training.
