Personal interest:
This model represents a Su-25K flown by the Iraqi Air Force during my service in Operation Southern Watch. Iraq had 26 operational Su-25 aircraft at the time. Use of the Su-25 strike aircraft was rare, as the aircraft was quite vulnerable to coalition combat air patrols. Nonetheless, it was used on occasion to attack anti-regime militias within Iraq.
