Now I did hear that Dragon quality keeps getting lower and lower and I did see some rather unfavorable reviews for this kit but I thought that if I'm not a rivet counter I wouldn't care that the actual measurements are a little off. Especially since I really wanted the tank.
What I didn't count on was that the barrel is actually warped on the sprue. Looks like my question on whether I should get a metal barrel or not has been answered for me.
"Thank you" so much Dragon for the quality provided with such amazing "low" prices. Not to mention that the DS tracks are rubbish, some of the guide horns have signs of flash on them.

With Takom announcing the release of their M103A1 and M103A2 kits, let us hope those will be substanitally better than this one.
