We don't know about any in-box reviews for this Heinkel He 60 (#1007) from Flugzeug.
Tony MayDon't you hate it when you get a budget all laid out for the acquisitions you have planned only for something to turn up completely out of the blue? I do ... but I don't.
Modelers typically want between 35~75 USD for the Azur Heinkel He 60 (as of 2024) before factoring in shipping. Then this kit suddenly showed up out of left field on eBay for a mere $15 USD. I resisted the urge to snatch it as soon as it appeared but I decided to watch it to see if it'd still be available next month. Then the seller knocked the price down by 10% & I just couldn't resist. Who cares if it doesn't have the small photo-etch fret - it's still the same kit otherwise!
I was also thinking that I could use the struts included with this kit as a basis upon which to fabricate struts for the Airmodel vac kit I've had sitting in storage since before my son was even a gleam in my eye. Add on the Print Scale decal set that includes German & Bulgarian markings & I'll have two kits out of the deal! 😄 Do I NEED 2 Heinkel He-60s built & on the shelf? Nope. Would it be pretty cool to use one as a reference to make the other possible? Absolutely!
