Nice kit, as are all the other Hasegawa F-14s. The easiest Hasegawa F-14 I have completed because the black bunny paint scheme is, well, all black, and there aren't many decals to put on.

I hate the way the main landing gear goes together on all Hasegawa's F-14s, though. I usually put it all together prior to painting because they are so fiddly, but I figured it would be tricky to paint the black bunny scheme with the white landing gear in the way. I super glued them on afterwards but the fit wasn't as nice as hoped (which I figured would happen since I've built quite a few of these lately).

The decals are nice but brittle. I find that all my Hasegawa decals are this way. Maybe it's because they've been sitting in my stash forever or maybe that's just the way their decals are. At any rate, I'd put some sort of clear coat on them to keep them from shattering.
