is the electronic part doable if you have no experience at all with electronics? Do you need other tooling than regular scale modeling tools?

Hi Riet. I owned this kit first time when i was a kid, and the Vans Sound and Lighting installation are easy doable, even if you have no experience with electronics. All the connections are without soldering, when i remember right. A great Sorry for the very late Answer.
