Lenny LiSome updates. First time using hot wire foam cutter. It turns out OK for setting up the base. Applied AK diorama paste on top.
Made the first mistake when using spray can - the paint or the agent reacts and corrodes any exposed foam surface. Had to reapply paste for the 2nd time to fix. Painting is quite straightforward, just Tamiya acrylic paint with airbrush.
Next step will be weathering.

Spanjaardit looks great. fantastic details. Interesting to use copies of the Caryatids as statues (as normal Caryatids they are quite over dimensioned, and the Afrika Korps was never in Athens, I think 😉 ) fantastic dio.

HyunMo Koo » Feature requestsThis is a just some shower thoughts (well actually I'm in the bathroom sitting on the throne) but maybe we could have some sort of barcode scanner? If you upload picture while accessing scalemates (maybe using your phone or other devices with camera) it can scan the barcode and auto recognize the kit or something like that.

Spanjaardwell, you can search by barcode. you only need to type it 😉
for example if you search for 6947917000010 you get the two kits that seem to have it SCM Search: 6947917000010 (two boxings of the same kit)
of course it is possible that not all kits have the barcode entered in the database.

HyunMo KooYeah I know I can enter barcode numbers manually but I thought maybe mobile page of SCM can read barcodes automatically from the camera since I'm lazy 😁

But the moment your camera detects a barcode, it will automatically do a lookup in the database and display your "manage stash" links

Spanjaardi tried, but it did not "see" the barcodes I tried. it only wanted yo use front camera, I could not change to back camera. using android phone

Spanjaardback camera works now. but i can not recognize barcodes. it simply stays there, showing the image, but not doing anything.
if i am too close, barcode is out of focus. when camera placed further way, barcode is focus, but it is a very small part of the window. not sure if that makes a difference.

HyunMo KooI can confirm that it does work on my Galaxy S24 Ultra. However barcode.php page does not recognize my login status. (Even if I logged into main page, it does not have my login info.) I know this is a test page so it might be that? Anyways it works for me on mobile page.
