Jason BloggsI still consider myself a beginner at the hobby, picked the kit up cheap, then did the research and realised why it was so well priced. It's taken well over a year to complete with long breaks and pauses due to it being such a hard build, along the way I've cut my teeth on filling and sanding, re-scribing, airbrush painting and some minor detailing for the side vents around the intakes. Glad it's all over! kinda happy with the results.

Hi Tyu, stripes and Miss Eileen are more brown than red, but still I think is an error from Revell. But in all honestly, I build the kit to try and improve some techniques so I was not going for full accuracy.

Renato PenafielHi Andrew. Quality wise, questionable as it is just a so so copy of the Tamiya kit parts (cowl and chin). Then trying to make it fit to the rest of the kit was way to much work, as you need to cut the kit chin add the tamiya copy and then extended it and blend it into the fuselage in order to match the cowl circunference. Otherwise you finish with a very strange look. In the end for me, not worth the trouble., much better to try and build the kit as is or just build the tamiya one.

Andrew HortonGreat insight! I have a Monogram kit I'll just stick with. Yeah, that guy seems to just copy things left and right.
