My late grandfather served as non-flying staff in the 322 Sqn. He did go for a supersonic ride in the TF-104 once, but always said that the T-33 was the most fun. It was an old jet that you could just fly around with freely, without the maintenance cost and associated approvals that the Starfighter required. A particular story he told me once is how a pilot asked him to come along for a flight to The Hague. The goal of the flight? Deliver a letter to the ministry.
That's why I'm dedicating this build to him, and gave the backseater a letter to hold. It is a nice coincidence that the pilot model in the back seat is a bit tall, as that matches his appearance.

I made the revell version earlier. A little bit better but neither of them is issue free. The revell unreachable on the market, just the italeri version. Good luck for your project.

I am definitely following this build. The Italeri kit is not an easy build (and it is a model of the very first A-version of the Gripen, not the C-version used by Hungary), but it is the only one that exists today. I am however sure you will do a splendid job!
