Another update on the Mirage. Despite my initial plan to make this a quick and simple project, I used PE parts for the cockpit and created rivets all over the model with improvised tools (saw blade). Then I had to fill some gaps along the wing roots and air intakes. The panels on the nose were also filled for the simple reason that they don't exist on the real counterpart. Final reveal coming soon!

Last update on the Mirage - I'll probably upload a detailed video about the building and painting process tomorrow. As you can see, it wasn't easy to get a somewhat realistic colour tone and I had to mix quite a few paints until I was satisfied with the outcome. A lot of weathering was done using enamel weathering products and oils.

Finished another project! Overall this was quite an enjoyable build, even though a few gaps had to be filled and it wasn't easy to mix the blue camo of the Mirage. As usual, all details can be found in my video! Youtube Video

Looks good, especially given that it's an easy click kit. Is it worth the money, because it's quite expensive for such a kit? Love the DB5 though, and the legendary Bond gadgets only add to that. I guess it's DeHart, Kyle DeHart now. 🙂

Je suis absolument impressionné. Bravo. L'intérieur est magnifique de détails. Je suis en train de le monter. J'ai été piégé par le lest à mettre dans le nez et les antennes qui ne sont pas très correctes. Je ne sais pas comment vous avez réalisé le treuil.
Un grand bravo en tout cas !

Le treuil est réalisé à partir de plusieurs épaisseurs de carte plastiques collée ensembles et mise en forme petit-à-petit à la lime.
