These wagons are really interesting and I see you are building quite a few. For me, the problem is the fixed wheels as I would like to pull them with my Roco German war steam locos. Have you tried to replace the plastic wheels with replacement Roco or Fleischmann metal wheels? I think the diameter is 14.7mm. It looks possible then fit the plastic brake shoes after as per the instructions. Cheers Paul

Hello Paul,

T-Model produces two sets of metal wheels in 1/72 for its platforms: TK 72005 with 8 wheels for the 50t SSys platform and TK 72007 with 12 wheels for the 80t SSyms platform. These sets are not listed here in Scalemates, but you can find them elsewhere in the web.
