Fernando ArriagadaDespués de 10 meses declarado terminado este proyecto. Fue desafiante, ya que entré en un área sin mayor experiencia, en la que tuve que modificar muchas piezas, y detallar el interior con scratch. No quedé conforme, pienso que pudo haber sido mejor. Especialmente quedé insatisfecho con las palas del rotor principal. No pude darle la altura para que no se apoyaran en la cola, las desarme y volví a armar tres veces. El problema fue que la base al interior del fuselaje en donde va montado el rotor cedió en donde ejercí mucha presión, al hundirse esa pieza fue imposible darle más altura al rotor y por ende más altura a las palas. Bueno sirve de aprendizaje para futuros proyectos.

Fernando ArriagadaHola Federico, muchas gracias por tus palabras. La verdad fue un desafío grande, y estuve casi un año trabajando en él. Hay que tener mucha paciencia y superar los desafíos que te plantea la maqueta. Si usas el rotor Reskit vas a tener que trabajar con los conectores para que las palas queden en la posición de descanso. Cuentame como va tu proyecto y me avisas para ver los progresos. Un abrazo

Ludvík KružíkHello, Greg. I know there's a Mi-1M kit in 1/72nd scale. Unfortunately, only this and a rather old kit from Special Hobby exists in 1/48 scale. In addition, this kit is an older version of the Mi-1A, which is different from the upgraded version of the Mi-1M. It has a different nose shape, different cockpit glazing and other minor changes. And since I decided to build the upgraded version of the Mi-1M, I will not avoid modifications to the kit.
To give you a better idea of the extent of the modifications to the kit, I've included a picture with the differences between the Mi-1A and Mi-1M versions color coded.
