Excellent diorama. Very realistic water effect, the ducks are the cherry on the cake!

Oh boy. A lot of love - and money - went into this. Beautiful dio with a lot of atmosphere. I particularly like the lifted drivetrain. An effect I try to achieve with my Revell Bieber in scale 1:72 too. How did you do it? Was it an option of the base kit? Which base kit did you use for the Leo 1?

Ah. I see that you used the Elite Model Kit and not and not the one from Perfect Scale Models. Whatever of Elite I held in my hands wasn't living up to it's name with Elite being the price tag only. So how was your experience with it? Did you design the 3D parts to convert it to s Dutch Brugleggende Tank yourself?

Thank you Rui! Michael, I was lucky enough to get the Elite kit for an absolute bargain, otherwise I would have gone for the far superior Perfect Scale kit. And as you say, the Elite kit is horrible. Bad casting throughout, so lots of flash, bubbles and warped parts. Especially the bridge was affected by this, so that was next to useless. I got a 3D-printed replacement bridge to fix this. The parts for the Dutch version are indeed designed and printed by myself. Lifting the tank is easy enough. I placed the rear most suspension arms and wheels to a slightly depressed position, and then glued the support blade in place in the angle I wanted. After that it's just a case of glueing all the other suspension arms in place in a position where they make contact with the ground.
