Messerschmitt Me 163 V 53x white 9

I needed a quick subject to test my new H&S airbrush with, and decided to have a go at this little Komet.

I only did the bare minimum to get an acceptable look, adding some paper tape seat belts, a new pitot tube and rounding the wing tips and rudder leading edge.

I completed this project in three or four days but it was very relaxing and it allowed me to glimpse the possibilities offered by my new airbrush, very promising!!!

@Thomas: I couldn't believe how easier it was to spray that mottle with H&S compared to my old airbrushes!!! It is expensive but worth every cent!!!

Thx Alberto! Yes I bought the Infinity CR 2 in 1. I cannot wait to use it again, it is really on another league compared to my old cheap ones!

@Trez : I usually thin the paint a lot and build up in layers, around 20/30% paint max. and air pressure starts from 0,8 bar and diminishing if needed through a screw valve just before the airbrush, HTH
I am sorry but I always mix , thin and spray instinctively and don't have precise "recipe" for what I am doing, every brand and even colour shade in it needs different settings, so I usually start from the value I said and adjust if/when needed....
