Thank you.
The first Harpoon-launchers I´ve made were to big, so that I had to build them again 🙁
But building this old kit is alot of fun, becauce you have to scratchbuild almost everything. And that is, what I like about this hobby. 🙂

Indeed, I find ships and vehicles are ideal for scratchbuilding various items or assemblies.

Jepp.
And because I´ve two comrades, serving aboard the "Karlsruhe", who provided me with some pictures and informations, I decided to build the F 212.

Thanks Tim.
Actually I´ve completed the air-intake-filters for the engines. Next step will be the exhausts and afterwards maybe the speedboat.

Album info
After finishing the details of the superstructure the next step was to build the Mk140 Harpoon launcher. The Revell-parts looked nothing like the original, so that they had to be replaced by scratchbuild ones.
------------------------------------
