Q: Is there a secret to this nice result? Like maybe relying on fine sanding sponge?

Thank you Treehuugger. Nothing special so far. Tamiya Acrylics and AK True Metal Wax from the tube. Finally, partial light polishing with an old T-shirt.

No primer under the metal wax? Or, black primer?

Only Tamiya XF-19 Sky Grey. AK True Metal is a wax base and holds very well on this surface.
A friend gave me a refill bottle from MOLOTOW for an almost chrome-like surface. But I still have to test it.
