I have finally finished another of Grumman's cats, Panther. I used Trumpeters kit which says F9F-3 but this specific plane was F9F-2 with BuNo 123030 (Trumpeter has wrong number 123031). It was not easiest built, I spent more time on it than I wanted but I am happy to have this aircraft in my collection. I think I will wait for new model to build another Panther, hopefully it will come one day?
I used AK RC and Abteilung 502 for weathering.
