Nashorn; Dragon 6314
gettin' ready; please ignore the panzer gray electronic device in the foreground. It is a sex toy.
pigments and wheels. The roller wheels are unglued. This is important when fitting, then removing the assembled treads....
the rifle is primed. I believe that is a mixture of Vallejo Model Air Gunmetal with a kiss of Model Air Blue
weapon details
i fear no magic tracks! The injection marks were removed on the outside of the ground run links only. I assembled the sub assembly about 10 links at a time over the course of a few days. Made this hereto tedious task very, very easy
magic tracks I mock you!
some detailing; as far as I can discern no scabies were evident within the fighting compartment at this time. Please note the scribing tool that I later considered using should they appear on my body.
some painting; still no scabies on the Tank Destroyer..I'm not so sure about my "Party Date"...
modulation, no filter, no scabies.......yet.
oil dots!
oil dots complete...oil dots only on vertical surfaces...pigments on horizontal surfaces (fenders)...top of hull no modification other than a enamel based filter....for mapping, don't ya know?
camouflage net plus non issue grab hooks...belts from a T34 PE set
milliput tarp
you can't see them without magnification, but the entire inside of the fighting compartment is alive with scabies. I'm not exactly sure how these parasitic mites got into the Nashorn, but I have my suspicions and it is NOT GOOD
blue oil paint accentuates the panzer gray camo......
nothing special here except the bucket and a lousy job of chipping .... <sigh> On a positive note, it seems that the Alclad Dull Coat has done a tap dance on the scabies!.I am, however, reticent to apply this chemical to my nether regions........
no decals, all markings done with a stencil....
I am quite proud of this small bit of delicate soldering

hey James your Nashorn came out really well i really like the camo and mud on the suspension. I see you left the radio rack in the crew compartment. My Nashorn is on hold again i have to strip the paint and decals off so now i lost interest in it once again maybe one year it will be complete

Yeah, I'm kind of turned on to the panzer gray on dark yellow look after I saw a MK IV that Adam Wilder did (but then again, all of his stuff is great)...I'm thinking it needed some sort of red filter....
The radio rack was a pain in the neck! The build log I referred to really messed me up with regard to this sub assembly........

looks to be a great kit. I have the 6001 in the stash, got bad reviews.
